Front Range Podiatry is looking for an outstanding Medical Assistant to join our team!
Front Range Podiatry is a solo physician foot and ankle clinic dedicated to providing excellent podiatric care to the greater Denver community.
Summary:
The Medical Assistant works in the back office of Front Range Podiatry. This position is responsible for rooming patients and taking histories, assisting with in-office procedures, taking XRs, and helping maintain a clean work environment. This position is required to provide excellent customer service to all patients as it is responsible for maintaining clinic flow and communication with patients. We are open Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 4:00pm and are closed for federal holidays.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Room patience and update medical history information.
- Assist physicians with in-office procedures.
- Perform radiology technician duties to include taking foot and ankle XRs as needed.
- Maintain stocking of in-room supplies.
- Educate patients on office policies, in-office medications, and durable medical equipment.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized working environment.
- Perform duties to achieve or exceed established service standards.
- Maintains confidentiality and follows HIPAA guidelines.
- Follows OSHA guidelines.
- Punctual and regular attendance.
- Follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Ability to work in a group but complete assigned tasks individually.

Minimum Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or High School Equivalency
- Strong computer skills required
Preferred Education/Experience
- Some college – medical, business, and accounting focus
- Completion of Medical Assistant program
- Customer Service Experience
- Current CPR card
- 1-2 years of experience in a business office or clinical environment
- Bilingual
- EMR experience, preferred-eClinicalWorks practice management system

- Occasionally required to walk; sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Salary: 38,000 - $42,000 / year
